Restorative Program
This program is designed to use group and individual sessions to improve physical abilities and mental functions. Designed to improve both physical ability (such as joint range of motion and general mobility) and mental function (such as memory improvement, comprehension and problem-solving skills).
Rehabilitation Program
At Green Acres Health & Rehabilitation we offer rehabilitative therapy for either a short-term stay or during long-term care. Therapists work one-on-one with the patient focusing on assisting them to achieve and maintain their desired, individual level of functioning as appropriate. Post-Stroke recovery is designed to assist patients who have suffered from a neurological event, such as a stroke, head/spinal cord injuries, or other neurological disabilities (e.g., multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease, etc.). Rehabilitation efforts focus on restoring an individual's level of independence in performing daily activities, such as self-care/mobility, speech and swallowing functions.
